Self Help - Anger

Anger is a normal, usually healthy emotion. It is something that we all experience, but can cause problems in relationships and quality of life if it gets out of control. It can vary in extent from mild irritation to extreme rage. Anger needs to be expressed calmly, not aggressively. If it gets bottled up inside it can cause harm or boil over into rage. People who are persistently angry are 6 times more likely to suffer from heart disease. We have a comprehensive article on the subject available for download.

Overcoming Anger Overcoming Anger - William Davies
This is a self-help manual for those who find that they are spoiling the lives of both themselves and those around them with their almost constant irritability and flashes of bad temper. It speaks to those who often find themselves saying and doing things they later regret. It will help the reader understand why such behaviour occurs and what can be done to prevent it. Like all the Overcoming guides it takes a positive approach for which the long-term goal in this case is lasting good temper and also looks at how best to handle situations which would tax even the most good-natured person!

The Anger Control Workbook Anger Control Workbook - Matthew McKay & Peter Rogers
Unfortunately, readers who finally realise that they need to work on their anger don't always have the patience to page through a complicated set of exercises, or make a commitment to a lengthy process with the promise of a positive outcome somewhere down the road. Thankfully, the new model of anger control introduced in THE Anger Control Workbook is based on a radically simplified approach that gives readers the tools they need to manage their anger in their day-to-day lives.
